David Rivera Bozón, Tenor
I am an international Colombian tenor, based in Boston, with more than sixteen years of experience in music performing. The core of my career has been to share with love the joy of singing; bringing my voice and heart to different latitudes and communities: From big theaters, to flash mobs in bakeries and shopping malls.
In my eclectic international career, my operatic roles have included Puccini’s Madama Butterfly’s B.F. Pinkerton and Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Tamino in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte and Le Marie in Poulenc’s Les Mamelles de Tiresias. Stage works include: Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Stravinsky’s Les Noces, and Einhorn’s Voices of Light.
I have a special interest and repertoire in Spanish language performance: I have performed chamber works such as Ramirez’ La Misa Criolla, Falla’s Siete Canciones Populares Españolas, Ginastera’s Cantos del Tucumán and Cinco Canciones Populares Argentinas.
